My dad graduated with a masters from the university of arizona in engineering. We are a pretty wealthy family, and during the past 10 years or so, he has been studying law on the side. He wants to go into law now, so is there anyway for him to get in Law school or something? What is the procedure? He's a pretty smart person, definitely talented.

Also, I just found out it costs like $75 to apply to a college in the US. I always had the thought that you could apply for free. I guess not. I want to go in the medical field, so I guess I'm looking for schools with a good biology/ pre-med major? What are some good schools in America with those fields?

I'm still a freshman in high school. I had all honors 4.0 first semester, so far 4.0 for the 2nd. I'm in track and field and cross country, I volunteer regularly at a nearby health foundation. I have an internship to do during summer. I'm preparing very well for the future, but which colleges should I apply to, based only on academic

I'm a legal permanent resident of the US. I finished my High School graduation from Bangladesh where the degree is called "higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination". My transcript shows my name as "Fatimah Ahsan" but my name in the passport is Fatima Ahsan Ali. Also I spent two years in the University of Dhaka and its transcripts also represent the spelling Fatimah instead of Fatima. Recently I appeared for the SAT where my name was spelled in the passport's way - Fatima. If I apply for admission in an american university, will it be a problem that my high school transcript shows a different spelling of my name than my passport?

Hey,
English is not my first language. Arabic is. I am translating this paper from Arabic to English and it is mainly about higher education terms.
When someone is done preparing his thesis , he "defends" it. Right?
What do you call the professors who mmmm are in the process of mmm "listening" to the guy who is defending the thesis.
Is it called "counter defending" or something?

I've been a pharmacy tech for a few years and I know quite a bit of the field. Even the Pharmacists ask me questions!! I'm ready to step it up--if there's any pharmacists here, where do you suggest I go to school? How long will it take me? How much will it cost? How much will I make?

I got the feds attempting to intimidate me saying I am threatening the president and many people through my praying and saying they do now believe I really am a divinity power on earth, asking me to stop it, for all the coincidences of the curses that occur with my prayers, and the school the one that intercepted an e-mail accidently sent to my counslor.
It was misdelivered I heard and thusly read by the dean , they tink my prayers are threats, I guess because I always lay witness of what I am going to pray so that when if my God glorifies me, the ones opposed to me can see, I have divine favor.
I think that people who war with their flesh and tools of the dust are crude and weak like Cain who first did so, he contended with his brother, Able and ables gift was accepted and glorified but cains gift was not and so instead of useing prayer, instead of calling on the Lord greater, he tried to change the matter with an unapproved and crude warfare, he used his flesh and the dust.

I'm trying to choose the classes I'm taking for my first semester for my freshmen year in college. So far I have English, Math, Linguistics and Drama. All of these classes meet college requirements etc. but I wanted to choose one elective. I narrowed it down to German or Chorus. German is worth 4 credits and Chorus is worth 1 credit, they are on the same days: monday and wednesday, they are on the same time slots and both are the same length. So which one would you choose? and Why? I need to make a decision.
