If so, does that mean it's cheaper?

UCF is not private. If is part of the Florida Public University system. It is a great school. Since I am guessing you are not from Florida you would have to pay out of state tuition. It will be very high. Private school high. You cannot move to Florida and start college then apply for residency. UCF will not accept that. You would have to move first, get residency then apply for school.

UCF is not a private university. There are over 46,000 students attending UCF (main campus, Coco, Rosen SChool of Hospitality, Downtown, etc.). If you want to go to a private College try Rollins but they are expensive.

If you are talking about U Central Florida, it's public.
