Hi,

I am currently pursuing Undergraduate Degree (BSc) in Math from Mcmaster University (Canada).
I am also taking enough Economic Courses as well, should i stay one more year and do BA in Economics ?

I Just want to know that is Math and ECON good combination? Would it open more doors for me ?

Planning to study part-time in CGA (Certified General Accountant) after getting BSc.

Math and Econ is a great combination, BUT you should NOT stay around for another year. Get your Math degree now, and apply to graduate programs in Economics. They will absolutely LOVE your math background, and will easily forgive that you don't have a degree in Econ. If you can get a minor in Econ, that's great, but even that's not necessary. But the big surprise most people have is that Economics graduate programs actually prefer people who have Math undergrad degrees to people who have Economics undergrad degrees.

However, I don't really get how the CGA fits in.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes -- Econ and Math are great combinations. You can't do higher level economics without a great math background.

As for staying an extra year to get a BA in economics -- that is crazy. You should stay an extra year and get an MA in economics.
