You don't need any business education to get into an MBA program. In fact, the top schools prefer to take a mix of students. In my MBA class at Duke, there were students with bachelor degrees in everything ranging from mathematics to literature to fine arts to engineering.

Absolutely. Your undergraduate degree doesn't have to be the same as your Graduate. In fact Psychology is a great major for MBA's as you are going to have to deal with a lot of people.

Your business minor will likely cover any prereqs for an MBA but you may want to research a couple different school to find out what their prereq's are for non business degree undergrads. Most have that information online.

Also I would recommend taking any psych classes that pertain to directly to business. Typically upperlever psych course have things like the pschology of marketing and such. Take those.

My experience is that there doesn't need to be an exact mapping between your undergraduate and graduate work. You *do* need to demonstrate a competency in the field you want to do graduate work in, so many programs will prefer that your undergraduate work is in a "related" field (the exact definition of "related" depends on the school).

Make sure you know a business professor well enough that they can be one of your references for your application to graduate school. These references are taken very serieously and can make or break your application.

Most graduate school applications require samples of your work-- you should start working on a portfolio of business-related work that you can present. If there is some sort of major project or large directed-study that you can do as a part of your minor it would be very worthwhile. That's a very good way to demonstrate your skills.

If you find a program you like that seems to only accept business majors *write to them*. Exceptions can be made in special cases. Be sure you can write a clear personal statement that explains why you want to continue in business.

Good luck!

Beef up your minor as much as you can with Economics courses and, if you don't already have it, statistical methods.
