I've been looking into colleges and stuff like that for next year. I'm a junior in high school.I don't know what to major in.I know that most colleges don't make you pick a major until your sophomore year but I don't know what to do.My interest are music any that has to with it I'm all over it but I like playing it more than anything, photography , writing, singing. basically I'm into performing art things.I know why I'm asking people for advice I don't know. I want somebody opinion besides my family and friends. what should I do go to college or do something else?

interest rate, CD account, how much your money will grow, and etc. Sort of like economics....but I took economics a long time ago and basically forgot most of the stuff. So is there a class you can take in a community college?

A degree in computer sciences, University Of Wisconsin or University Of Minnesota?

I plan to transfer from a community college in Wisconsin next year and take distance learning classes. What one do you think is better?

Also this is totally random, but do those who take distance learning attend graduation with everyone? Becuase that would really suck not having a graduation for somthing so big in my life.

I want to know if I will be able to get into a good collage for undergrad, from where I can go to medical school.

I take mostly honors and AP classes. My only "below honors" class is Spanish.

I am in 11th grade, so I haven't officially taken my SATs yet, I'm taking them on May 6. But I got a 1620 on my practice test.....I'm still practicing.

My extracurriculars are: track (3 years), XC (3 years), Dance (8 years), Violin (10 years), Orchestra (7 years), volunteering at my local Hospital (2.5 years), Voice (7 years), Peer Leadership Committee member (this is my first year), and that's about it.

I just really want to know what you think my chances are of becoming a doctor....PLEASE be honest.

Also let me know if you have any thoughts on undergrad schools and/or med schools I should consider. I live in the Northeast region of the US and prefer to stay near my family.

Thanks in advance!
:)

Is going to college for Art, History.....or the Liberal Arts even worth it? What fields are in demand? And is a Bachelor's worth much anymore? I've heard it's the equivalent now of a High School Diploma. Even though you can still make 20,000 more than those without a degree..

I had a high school GPA of somewhere between 3.8 and 4.0. My SAT scores (the old SAT) were: Verbal: 620, Math: 670
My first year of college I will have either a 4.0 or a 3.9 (the semester is not over yet). Do I have a chance to get into the Lehigh University Engineering program?

My major is biochemistry and I got accepted to both. However, everyone is telling me that I should go to UCB because it is ranked higher and it will be easier to get into medical school from there.

But my dream school has always been UCLA and my gut is telling me to go to UCLA.

I know sometimes feeling can be WRONG. What do you think?

Is it there that much of a fail at UCLA or succeed at UCB aspect?

Don't be afraid to tell me the truth. thank u

Also, since Berkeley is the most competitive, won't I have a better GPA at UCLA?

And will most likely give you a hard time getting a job after graduating from it? The school I currently attend is a 4th tier university in the middle of a very bad neighborhood and is considered one of the worst schools in chicago, but would it be bad to transfer from it?

I had to come back home, I was very homesick and hated my living situation. Well, now I'm back at home, at another university, but I want to transfer again because the school I'm at now doesn't have what I want to major in. Am I crazy for wanting to transfer so many times? And will it take me forever to get my degree because I'm transferring so many times? Should I just stay at the school I'm already at?
