Rule your sport, don't the the sport rule you. Dedicating time to practice and games is essential, but you have to leave ample time for studying and doing homework. Most teams won't take you out of class, at least for too many classes. If you do have to miss, have someone you know in that class take notes for you, get an extra copy of anything handed out, and talk to the professor BEFORE the day of the event.

Sports with education is must, which should be considered as part of studies really.Sportsman can be a good student.If sportsman is kin to consider both important.

Not OK. Sport is a waste of time and should not be allowed to happen during school-time.
We could probably get away without allowing some outside of school but no special allowances should be made because of it (i.e. they have to do the homework just like those who stay away from sport).

Time management is key for making good grades. Many colleges require study groups for their athletes. Grades are a requirement for being able to play. Therefore, good grades are encouraged.
A fellow student in one of my classes at college had to turn in a grade check each week in order to play football.
