The GMAT reading comprehension section is similar to the MCAT verbal section, but the MCAT is MUCH more difficult.

I admit, I haven't taken the GMAT, but I was looking at practice books and materials online, and frankly, the GMAT verbal is way easier than MCAT verbal.

MCAT does not include any grammar sections (unless you count the essay section). It is all critical reading, and the passages are often tough to read and dissect. Because most people who take the MCAT are science folks, verbal can be the hardest section for people to excel.

In case you wanted to see some MCAT practice questions, check out http://www.aamc.org download an old exam and try the verbal.
