feel so lost i have been out of high school for almost 5 years i've done a year of city year and worked 2 years i am thinking about going to college but feel that i am too old to be starting college i sould be in my 3 or 4 year will it be weird with a felony what career feild can i still get a good job with a degreebecause of my age will it be differant because of my age i also have a felony for robbery when i was 18 and feel i wont get a good job i am very worried i cant get past this

I have recently been accepted to both of these schools, but I have no idea which one to choose! I'm interested in the social sciences or humanities.

Most likely something in International Studies combined with Political Science or English.

Anyone have any (credible) insight into the differences between both schools?? (besides the social atmosphere b/c i know that California and the East coast ivy league are very different)?

I am working on a report that the cost of tuition is so high that I belive the governmat should pay for students starting earler then the age of 24 like starting right out of high school, and any student that starts after high school, as long as they get a B or higher, should contuniue to get free school for 4 years. Is my thinking too radical?

I'm a Maryland resident, and I'm planning on pursuing my career in the medical field. I got accepted to both University of Maryland and Virginia Tech. They both offer good pre-med program. The question is which one is better than the other? Since i live in MD, the cost of University of Maryland will be lower than Virginia Tech, if i choose to attend University of Maryland. But should i really go to University of Maryland, and save myself some money, or should i go to Virgini Tech? Please give me some information about their campus and the quality of education offered by both schools. Will it really make a huge difference when I'm applying for Medical School? And which one of these two schools will prepare me the best for MCAT? Thanks a lot.

I'm trying to get into a PhD program next year. What schools other than UCLA and USC offer such programs in the Political Science field? I have looked into Online programs but not sure how one can start and finish an Online PhD without ever being seen in person? Some insight will be appreciated.

May 1st is the national decision deadline, when you have to tie yourself to a college, to your future. I am deciding between three schools and I really need some advice. I have been accepted to George Washington University, Boston University and the University of Iowa. Over Spring Break I visited GWU and BU. Here are my pros and cons. I love GWU, they have the programs and the location I want, but they are massively expensive, so I would have lots of debt. BU was nice, I liked it but not as much as GWU, it's also quite expensive. Iowa is also nice and a lot cheaper, but it's really big. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for these schools. What do people think about going into debt for a school I really like or should I go to a school I kind of like but I can afford. Help would be appriciated.

I was excited to find about the Corporate Tax Internship position with Countrywide Financial Corporation via BruinView at UCLA.
I am confident that I can contribute significantly to the company. I have strong analytical skills, which I continuously strengthen by tutoring mathematics (see attached resume). Additionally, I possess excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Business Economics major with an Accounting minor, I have a cumulative UCLA GPA of 3.83. I completed Intermediate Financial Accounting I with an “A” grade, and plan to complete Intermediate Financial Accounting II and Management Accounting by the end of the spring quarter. I meet the requirements necessary to be successful at the Tax Internship position.
