I was excited to find about the Corporate Tax Internship position with Countrywide Financial Corporation via BruinView at UCLA.
I am confident that I can contribute significantly to the company. I have strong analytical skills, which I continuously strengthen by tutoring mathematics (see attached resume). Additionally, I possess excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Business Economics major with an Accounting minor, I have a cumulative UCLA GPA of 3.83. I completed Intermediate Financial Accounting I with an “A” grade, and plan to complete Intermediate Financial Accounting II and Management Accounting by the end of the spring quarter. I meet the requirements necessary to be successful at the Tax Internship position.
I would be glad to further discuss my qualifications and how I can be a valuable asset to the company. I look forward to hearing from you soon to arrange for an interview.

Are there any corrections or revisions necessary or is my resume perfect?

Looks pretty darn good to me. And good job on your qualifications...you will make a fine bean counter one day. Except how about " I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications in greater detail..." and " how I WOULD be" not "can be". a valuable asset. Just suggestions...good luck.

That is not a resume dearheart. It is a coverletter. Your thankfulness and introduction are the coverletter. Your name, address, email address, telephone number, objective for finding a job followed by your qualifications are your resume. Go to Word and click on File New - Templates - General Documents (or templates) - Resumes - Elegant Resume.
Use that outline to create your resume. Take your time, don't get nervous. What is for you is for you. Peace and best wishes.
