I'm doing a Psychology degree at the moment, but don't know what I need to do to become a child psychologist once my degree is complete.

I've been on a couple of websites but it's all really confusing!

Do I need a masters, further training and experience with children? And if so how do I know which of these to choose?

I'm in the UK by the way...

If anyone can help it would be most fabulous!!!

I'm looking to go back to school to be a teacher, there is no way I am able to quit my day job and the only possible way for me to really get a degree is to go to online classes. University of Phoenix seems like an awesome way to go, but I have heard both good and bad about it, but really haven’t spoken to anyone who has attended or maybe is an expert on colleges. Can I get some opinions here?
Thanks!

I haven't found a single job that is entry level. Everyone requires 3-5 years experience to even look at you. So where are these people getting hired in the first place?

I want to go to medical school but I am afraid that my Organic chemistry grades are going to hold me back. I have a cumulative GPA so far of 3.48, but I got a "C" my first semester of Organic, and I quite possibly might get a D for my second semester of Organic. I know that if I get a D I will have to retake the course, but will my chances of getting into medical school be totally shot if I have to retake it? I have a lot of hands-on medical experience, community service and leadership positions. Is there anything I can do to increase my chances if I do have to retake my 2nd semester of Organic chemistry?

This semester I am studying abroad and I have decided that I do not want to go back to the US. I am not sure since I am kind of young and have a feeling I might change my mind later. So, I want to study international law in another country but be sure that my degree would be transferable to the US if I ever choose to return. Does anyone know where I can study? I speak French and Spanish but am willing to learn other languages. Thank you!

I applied and was accepted to Ferris State University. When I got the letter telling me I was accepted it said I was accepted to the Summer Program. I knew I messed up, so I called Ferris and they said they would change it from summer to fall, they said they would.
After a while we hadn't gotten any thing from Ferris when we thought we should. So I called again and asked them if it had been changed from summer to fall and they said it hadn't and they said they would. But the same thing is happening again. Should I call Ferris again?

I'm looking at Phd programs in comp lit. I was hoping someone out there could evaluate how realistic my chances are at getting into Berkeley. Is anyone familiar with what it takes to make the cut?
My profile: GRE 700V (96%), 780Q (88%), 4.5AW (51%);
UNC-Chapel Hill: undergrad GPA 3.55 with double major in English/French lit;
two years study abroad;
intermediate classes in spanish, italian, ancient greek, anglo-saxon (Old English).
If Berkeley is a longshot for me, what other West coast schools should I consider?
Thanks!

I am an undergraduate college student working toward a Bachelor's degree. Most of my friends who are in college plan to get some sort of advanced degree. Most of them are doing it because they want a better job, not because they actually want to get a grad degree. Some people are saying that a "Master's degree is becoming the new Bachelor's."

Do you think in the next generation or two everyone will get a Master's and the PhD will be the new "advanced" degree? Then what will happen when everyone is getting a PhD?

Or do you think the Masters is the end of the line? I can't imagine everyone spending 8 years at college for a PhD, but a generation ago nobody would have thought so many would be getting a Master's degree.

2 Questions:
1: I am going to college next year and there is no way I can afford it in this country. Its at least $25,000 a year for a good college. My friend in England told me it was about 3,000 a year there. I know for me it would cost about 10,000 for being an international student, but it is still a big difference. I might even be able to stay at my friends house so I wouldnt have to pay for rent and even food and other stuff like that. Could I go to College there? How can I? Where can I find information to help me with this?
2: My friend just got accepted into the top art school in London. Thats what I was told by her aunt, so I was wondering if you have an idea of what it could be. To be more specific she does fashion design, I dont know if that helps.

Also would I be able to go to college in Italy. Do you know how much it cost there? England and Italy are the only two countries that I would even think about going to college to besides the US.

Here is the exact question: "People in academia are often characterized as having lots of book knowledge and little in the way of "street smarts" or genuinely useful knowledge. In your essay, describe to what extent you think this is true and, if true, to what extent it is a good or bad thing. Describe what you could do with yourself to support or modify that perception."

I need help!!! I have no idea what im going to write. The essay can be any sort of essay. I am going to deny that it is true. This essay is for a college class. Any ideas?
