I'm doing a Psychology degree at the moment, but don't know what I need to do to become a child psychologist once my degree is complete.

I've been on a couple of websites but it's all really confusing!

Do I need a masters, further training and experience with children? And if so how do I know which of these to choose?

I'm in the UK by the way...

If anyone can help it would be most fabulous!!!

Just graduated with a B.S. in Psychology.

You will absolutely need a Master's degree to be a child psychologist. There are some jobs you can do with a Bachelor's degree that work with children but it will not be what you really want to do.

For more information go to any college/university and see an academic advisor or set up an appoint with someone in the psych. department. You can also call their 1-800#.

at the start do not do what Opetke says and tell him that on the top of this existence that's going to be worth not something with out little ones. this is a foul element to declare. many human beings don't have newborn and stay useful lives. it is to not say he would not have little ones if he desires to, yet for Godsake, do not tell him his stay would be valueless. you will relatively be met with anger and resistance. I consider one in all the different posters who suggested that his remark which you're selfish became suggested for some reason. What did he advise by using that. OR do you think of it became merely an excuse? Did you ask him why he thinks you're selfish? Is there any threat that he's disappointed with the relationship with you and that's the reason he does not might desire to make it extra complicated? you could desire to ask him those issues. besides the fact which you do do not stress or coerce him into it. it won't in basic terms be held over your head continuously yet you will create a terrible environment for a newborn. I advise you bypass to a counselor with him so which you will get the real tale
