I have 11hrs each night of hw I work from 3:00-12:00 than I sleep for 41/2 hrs than I study from 4:30-6:30 than I get ready for school. Fridays I normally work straight through to around 2:30.
On the weekends I work all day (except when I am tutoring or volunteering). When I am not working on hw I am in school. (School is from 7:00 - 2:47)

Firstly, I think you're exaggerating a little. There are only 168 hours in the week.

And secondly, it depends on the college and what you choose to put into it. Many college classes do not have homework assignments that you turn in for a grade. The only grades are exams and papers. I know that I don't study more than 20 hours a week, except when exams are coming up, and I'm maintaining a B+ average at an Ivy League school

I was pretty much in the same situation as you were in I was in high school. I was constantly working on homework and studying and had hardly anytime to do anything else. It really isn't all that much different in college. It all depends on how many credit hours you are taking, what type of classes you are taking, and how well you manage your time. You pretty much build your own schedule in college, so if you handle your schedule correctly you'll be just fine. Since classes aren't all in the same day you have more time to do homework and study, so it won't feel like you have as much work to do. Yes you'll feel stressed every now and then, but otherwise like I said if you build your schedule correctly you'll be just fine.

it is approximately precise on hours/week, i might say, in step with hazard slightly too extreme. I probably spent 2-3 hours/night on homework (and by using "spent" I advise "might desire to have spent extremely of a million hour one night then 3-4 the subsequent"). now and lower back there is extra, fairly for the period of tests. For math classes, assume a good form of prepare issues. i've got in basic terms taken one laptop technological information path, even even though it became regarding comparable to math homework. classes like English and Social Sciences have extra interpreting/writing. And in case you have a foul/incomprehensible lecturer, self-analyze must be the sole element that could save your grade (coaching your self from the textbook).

That all depends on what sort of grades you want!

You obviously work hard now for your grades. Most likely, for you college won't be any harder (well, it will but you'll be smarter, so it all evens out). Like you, I worked very hard in high school. I went to MIT, and I didn't feel like it was any more work than high school was. A bit more pressure, but not more actual work.
