I am in interest in a orginization and i am asked to provide an official transcript. but in the application i have to sign a waiver to let the school release my grades to the orginization... it would really save me 15 dollars to just let the school give them my gpa why do i have to provide a transcript anyway?

So I'm going to graduate high school this year. I definitely want to become a doctor. Do I have to go to a regular 4- year college first, then go to medical school (university). If so, how many years do I have to spend in medical school (interns...etc.) to become a doctor? And in the regular 4- year college, what do I learn? Is it kind of like high school? Does it have regular subjects like math, science, biology...etc? Please help. I'm basically clueless.

I'm an undergrad trying to hone in on what major would be best in my interest. I'm a huge weight lifting enthusiast, I have some extensive knowledge of nutrition, etc. One of my biggest fears is majoring in something that will hinder what I do in the future. I am very interested in Management level positions in business/corporate settings. My family has always been strong in the business field. I feel that I would have greater success in business than I would majoring in Kinesiology.

Any opinions?

Do they raise your unweighted GPA more than normal classes or honors classes? Or do they just count for more weighted?

Hi. I am currently a high school junior and I have started looking at colleges. I've always wanted to study math or physics in college, but this past year I've picked up photography and now I want to do a double major in both. I'm looking at schools like stanford, harvard, columbia, georgetown, carneigie mellon..etc I know some of these schools have fine arts or art history major, but how can you have a concentration in photography? I'm afraid that being an art major will be very hard for me since I have not taken a lot of art classes in HS. what schools have a rather liberal art department where I can take mostly photography classes?

Hi

I am thinking of taking a LLB Law Degree in London (I am British) and then coming back to Canada (where I now live). Does anyone know the weight and recognition of a British law degree here in Canada and in the US, not only within the law industry itself but also within a business context?

many thanks

I have to write an essay in class on monday but I can do the outline at home. My topic is to compare and contrast 3 women I have read about in literature short stories. Anyways my question is....Should I do the three body parahgraphs with each paragraph on one woman or should I do two body paragraphs with one on comparing and the other on contrasting? I am stuck. I'm not sure how to go about doing the three body paragraphs with one on each woman. I think I have to have three body paragraphs. I'm not sure. How do you think I should do this?
