I want to take admission in us universities for ms(august/September 2007).I have still not given my gre and toefl. But the deadlines are approaching faster so what I want to do is send my supporting documents like (transcripts, letter of recommendation,SOP ,etc) before deadlines and send my toefl and gre scores later so that I will be considered strongly for getting admission rather than waiting for results to come and then send everything after deadline.

I'm in high school, and I passed biology in 9th grade with As both semesters. I passed Chemistry Honors with As both semesters (and it was my favorite class so far). I took Biology AP as a junior and got Bs both semesters. Will biochemistry kill me? I heard its the hardest major after law.

I was looking at college searches but it wasn't working quite right. If anyone knows of a Christian College in New York City I would really like to know about it... actually if you know of (had any experience with) a good school in NYC I'd love to know about it.
(I'm interested in majoring in art history if that has any effect.)

I mean it's college! You SHOULD have a choice of whether you want to attend class or not. I personally am someone who works extremly well independently and can teach myself things, and so I always feel it's a waste of time to attend lectures. However, almost all my professors do not allow absences. The rule is generally 1 absence will lower your final grade by 1 whole letter, and more than 1 absence will result in a final grade of F. So basically, if someone was to decide to miss class once, and they manage to get perfect on the exams and papers (Which is highly unlikely) they will end up with a B. If they happen to get A- 's or B+'s on the exams and papers (which is more realisitc), they will get a final grade of B-, which is considered a "fail" at my school for courses within your major, and therefore you have to repeat it. My point is.....if you want to not have to repeat courses, you can't miss even 1 class meeting! How annoying is that?!

I'm probably going to a Universtiy of California in the fall. I want to know how hard it is and how much work I have to put in compared to high school. How are the college classes compared to AP classes in high school?
Also, I would consider myself pretty crappy when it comes to writing essays and papers. How do I avoid this problem in college?

okay, well i would really like to be in the fashion industing dealing with merchandising or even writing for a magazine, just something in that business but i know its really risky and its hard to break into. So i dont know if going to a college directed towards fashion is worth it or i should go to a university directed towards many majors. I'm just really frusterated so any colleges someone could recommend on the east coast that they feel would be good choices please please please let me know. THANK YOU!

I know that pre-med students usually major in things like bio or chemistry, but I was wondering if it was possible to major in something else, like psychology, and still be considered for getting into med school. I will do all my pre-reqs like the organic, inorganic chem. etc., i just don't know if this is a smart idea. any suggestions?

When you are a lawyer, are there jobs that don't require you to plea in court.

I don't want to be the debating type. I'm more of a paper work type.

GPA: 4.2~ish; ranked 5 in class...(unweighted 4.0)
graduating GPA should be around 4.5

SAT: I haven't gotten my scores yet...my ACT was low (26) but I didn't study for it...

(I'm a junior at a public high school)
Classes: LOTS of honors, AP Psych, AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, AP US History, AP English Language, AP European History...

Next Year I'm taking AP Calc, AP Government/Econ, AP Biology, AP World History, AP English Literature

Activities: Lacrosse (this year), Japanese Club, Beta Club, National honor society, Academic Team, Renaissance Club, School Magnet program, Marching band (1 year), Model UN (1 year), summer exchange program in Australia, Summer courses at local college...probably 50 hours community service

What can I do to improve my chances? (besides getting a high SAT)
