my lsat is poor. took it twice and the second time gained only 1 point...it is also a good 10 points below their median.

i have been very determined to make myself known to the school because i want to attend this particular school so badly and my poor test taking skills drags me down..i know thats no excuse, but whats a girl like me to do? i know that i can do well because i want it so badly.

so what do you think about what they are offering me?
they said i can audit a few classes but will have to retake the LSAT for the 3rd time.

LINKIN r u there? u have answered a few of my questions in the past and u seem to know what you are talking about>

thanks!

Ok. Im 19 years old. Will be 20 in May.
I graduated Highschool in 2005. But didnt go to college right after.
Missed 1 semester, because I was going to go to a trade school, but then decided it wasent what I wanted, then I dropped it, and was too late to sign up for classes at my community college.
I enrolled that following term, and completed 16 credits (acutally 19, but only 16 transfer to the univeristy I want to go to) (this was winter semester 2006) (did not attend fall semester 2005)
Then I was in school for Fall 2006 semester, earned 15 credits, and right now I am enrolled in the 2007 in 14 credits, but might have to drop a class because I am having a hard time in it.

so my transcript looks like this.
Fall 05-0credits
Winter 06-16credits

Fall 06-15credits
Winter 07-10credits (probaly because I will drop a class worth 4 credits)

So thats a total of 41 credits at the end of the 2007 semester, when the rest of my HS class would have about 60. Am I a loser?

I graduated from Penn State in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in computer science, and I eventually want to go for a Master's degree. Is there a timetable on how long you wait after you graduate before you can start studying again?

I've always been told that I had to get a good education after high school so I can get a better job. I believe this, but then I look at Bill Gates, Karl Albrecht, Paul Allen, Lawrence Ellison, and Michael Dell to name a few, who are among forbes' top 20 richest people in the world, who dropped out of college, and I wonder, maybe I should do the same thing. These guys make me believe that I can be successful without college education. Maybe they were the lucky ones, but it still makes me wonder and question whether I should quit school now and just focus on a business of my own. I complete my BA in May '07 and I am applying for grad school for Fall. If I had a choice I wouldn't go, but I know if I do I'll get a better job. I'm just doing this out of obligation and out of the fact that I know in order to survive in today's employment world you have to have the education. I want answers from both sides: why is education important and why education is not important. Thank you.

It's been almost THREE years since I recieved my undergrad degree and now I'm realizing that I really want and need to go to grad school. I'm aspiring for a doctorate (at least a master's) in social psychology, but want to know people's opinions on my chances of being accepted. Here are my stats: I graduated with a 3.56 and in good standing with professors, ONE reasearch experience, most of my professors have left my undergrad insitution, will have to re-take the GRE (under 1000 when first tested), and have only had one work experience related to psychology.
Please help! Any advice on how I should go about the application process or experience will be helpful.

My main goal is to major and receive a degree in Philosophy, but I would also like to fill all my prerequisites for medical school. Has anyone ever done this (not specifically) or anything like it? My real passion is to blend the two together somehow (The Ethics of Assisted Suicide?). Any commentary, criticism, etc. etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I have been patient... I'm in my late 20s... I know I'm still young, but I am a busy single mom, and I can not do school much longer. I have a long way to go, and it's just bringing me stress. I want an attainable goal or I will just drop out of college because I have had enough. It will take me a lifetime to finish. Please don't tell me to continue with my Bachelor's in mind.

I would like to earn a Bachelors (4 year degree) in pre-law, legal studies, or as a paralegal. I can't seem to find a good accredited university. I have already completed 3 years in California for legal studies, but can't seem to find a good college to transfer to in Houston. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. I'm even open to online universities that offer a four year degree in pre-law/paralegal.
