My son is applying to attend the University, I need to see how are the buildings.....Dorms....Tkanks

The link below brings you to their web site. You can see that many of the buildings are fairly modern brick structures. From the main page, you can click the "Student Life" link to read more about the school's culture.

Durham is a medium size city with several nice neighborhoods and a few that are kind of rough. NCCU isn't in the nicest part of town -- but from what I remember is not in the roughest part, either.

You should really try to visit the school before he makes his decision.
