I am thinking about majoring in Industrial Electronics, and I wanting to know what kind of job opportunities I have with that degree. Also would a degree in Information Systems degree(computers) be better?

Go back and get your B.A. An associate degree is nice but most companies aren't impressed. Go back finish what you started it will be well worthit in the long run. Good Luck

After going to the website below, and actually reading about being in the Industrial Electronic field. I think I'd go with Information Systems.

My reasoning behind this way of thinking comes from this paragraph.

Working Conditions:

Many electrical and electronics installers and repairers work on factory floors, where they are subject to noise, dirt, vibration, and heat. Bench technicians work primarily in repair shops, where the surroundings are relatively quiet, comfortable, and well lighted.

I wouldn't like the noise or dirt. Plus I read further down the page and it seems the growth is slower than the average. Of course that could mean that once in you'd stay.

Check out the website. And best of luck to you in your decision.
