im 17 years old. I dropped out of school when I was around 16, im getting my ged next month and im completely confused as to what I should do now. all my friends are getting ready to go away to college and I can barley decide what to watch on tv. I have really varied interests and I cant decide which one I could/should make a career out of. when I was in school I was in the advanced program and I had a BIG interest in physics(cosmology to be exact). I also love to play music and still have the idea of becoming a world famous rockstar lol. ever since I was little I always wanted to be an fbi agent haha. College isn't out of my field of vision but I really don't wanna be one of those people who go to college and get stuck at some desk job in corporate america miserable and wishing something had changed. I don't like the feeling of free floating, I would like to get an exact idea of what to do. if anyone has any ideas as to what I should do, or just get my mind thinking it would be much appreciated thanks soo much in advance.

I'm looking at colleges, and am looking for a college (in the US) that has a very good reputation (selective), and is pretty big (student population-wise), but has small classes. I don't want to go to some small college in the middle of nowhere! It would also be great if it had a good reputation of getting student into medical school.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I'm thinking of double majoring in college with psychology and biology and perhaps going onto veterinary medicine. Which university is known to be the best for this (in or outside the US)?

I have about a year before they make me pick a major. While i've though about what I want to do with my life a lot I can't find anything that holds my attention in the classroom. In fact i find I have very little interests. I love to play soccer but I already know any type of biology class is not for me. I enjoy english but only because i like to write. even so having to write a paper for class stresses me out. and everyone is a business major. So how did you pick your major...maybe it will help me pick mine.

Ok. So I'm 14 and wanting to live my life. One problem: I don't know where I'm heading. I don't really have any specific subject that I enjoy, despite the fact that I'm carrying a 3.34 GPA. (I attend an early college high school so in my world, it's decent.)

The subject that I'm leaning toward is foreign language. I'm currently taking Mandarin and love it. I also have plans for learning other Asian languages as well as one romance language.

Also, I enjoy Art- dance, music, visual arts, and if I must, drama. I know that being an/a artist/dancer/musician/ac... isn't guaranteeing my future so I'm a little quirky about it.

Any suggestions?

I just graduated High School with a 2.0 GPA. I have no basics in Chemistry and Biology. But i got an A+ in Environmental Science (AP Level). Rest of my subjects sucks. I want to learn Marine Biology, but i only have the knowledge of the middle schooler. Am I screwed and gonna suffer in university? Does that mean i have to repeat high school again?
