I am considering transfering from University of Phoenix's online program. I am looking to earn an AS in liberal arts or interdisciplinary studies. Thanks!

Why transfer from the University of Phoenix? It's a good school.

I'm currently attending the University of Phoenix and I will tell you...it's not easy. You have to write a 2,000+ word paper/week (with research from scholarly articles). The questions tend to be of analytical quality so don't expect a general question essay. You are required to read the text and supplemental readings of that week. You learn alot and take one class at a time. Trust me...it's a very good school if you graduated from there.

I have a job and take care of my family....i can't attend school at night. I spend that night studying...and let's be honest...how many people truly pay attention to on-campus lectures at night?? Seriously...we do most of the learning ourselves...so why not save time and gas...and do the work at home?

I’m currently taking a class and have 7 papers for a 5 weeks class
4---individual papers
2—team papers
1—team presentation

Trust me it's not easy. It's easy to be enrolled but to graduate is another story. How do you think they got accredited? Yes it’s true that it’s easy to get in…but graduating is another story. Trust me...everyone here who says that the University is an easy A or B...THINK AGAIN. Did they every go there to know that it’s an easy A??? Where did they get that idea?

Probably not with Phoenix or Capella, either. But you're paying for a degree not worth a whole lot. And it's spelled "college."
