When universities require a certain grade for example 2 do they mean average must be 2 or that the grades?

can't be worse than 2? I just got a conditional acceptance from 3 british universities and the all require this.

wow congrats...

yes it is suppose to be based on your grade point average (GPA)... it ranges from 0 to 4 or 4.5... so 2 would be average (like at C).... anything lower would mean you failed too many courses and that's usually not accepted
