Ok. Im 19 years old. Will be 20 in May.
I graduated Highschool in 2005. But didnt go to college right after.
Missed 1 semester, because I was going to go to a trade school, but then decided it wasent what I wanted, then I dropped it, and was too late to sign up for classes at my community college.
I enrolled that following term, and completed 16 credits (acutally 19, but only 16 transfer to the univeristy I want to go to) (this was winter semester 2006) (did not attend fall semester 2005)
Then I was in school for Fall 2006 semester, earned 15 credits, and right now I am enrolled in the 2007 in 14 credits, but might have to drop a class because I am having a hard time in it.

so my transcript looks like this.
Fall 05-0credits
Winter 06-16credits

Fall 06-15credits
Winter 07-10credits (probaly because I will drop a class worth 4 credits)

So thats a total of 41 credits at the end of the 2007 semester, when the rest of my HS class would have about 60. Am I a loser?

there's a dude that has been in college for 11 years working on his bachelors.
just keep at it. Always remeber there is always someone doing far worse than you. At least you are in college, Look at the folks who are not!

Absolutely, without a doubt, you are anything but a loser. You should be proud of your accomplishments: 16 credits one semester, 15 credits the next...that's a tough schedule and you should be commended. If you feel the need to drop a class, that may very well be the right decision if you're truly struggling. A college diploma isn't a competition so don't worry if some of your peers have more credits than you do. Stand tall, be proud. Not every one's life is on the same schedule.

you'll sense like a loser in case you keep telling your self that. set some life like targets and write them down. Then tick them off as you benefit them. you would possibly want to confirm a occupation training individual or maybe a existence coach in case you will get one which does no longer fee the earth. you want some training. Math isn't each little thing in existence. seem on the belongings you're sturdy at that are effective and do those issues. seem on the belongings you want doing that could also help you in searching the belongings you would possibly want to do. Watch 'pursuit of happyness'. it truly is a sturdy motivator. you don't desire to do a similar yet you want route. also shall we be honest. Masturbating 10 situations an afternoon is extreme. there is no longer something incorrect with masturbating yet 10 situations an afternoon? Mate it truly is merely too a lot. you're dropping too a lot time and means. also savour it a lot extra in case you do it a lot less many times.

No, you are definitely not a loser. I took a few years off before I went back to school, and even then I took a limited number of units each semester because I was working and living on my own. I'm proud to say that I graduated from CSULB in December (even though I am 26!) It doesn't matter how long it takes you. It's great that you are even in school and you should feel good about that. Believe me, when you finally graduate (no matter how old you are), you are going to feel incredible. It's an awesome accomplishment. Keep at it and don't give up!

Now then, no, you are not a loser, as long as you believe in your self and keep going ( and ignore ppl with rude comments) you can get were you want to be. you just need to realize that its not going to happen over night.
I'm 21 now and until 3 months ago i was ready to give up because i thought i was never going to get anywhere. My bf has stuck with me and really helped me. now i am going to finish school, for something i want, and i am HAPPY about it! try to find someone who will be supportive of you, I have lots of links for college stuff so feel free to email me any time

The purpose of going to school is to learn the skills needed to get a good job. It has nothing to do with how fast you finish. Potential employers will be looking at your skills. Concentrate on the quality of your education.
