How hard will it be for me to be accepted into a graduate program?

It's been almost THREE years since I recieved my undergrad degree and now I'm realizing that I really want and need to go to grad school. I'm aspiring for a doctorate (at least a master's) in social psychology, but want to know people's opinions on my chances of being accepted. Here are my stats: I graduated with a 3.56 and in good standing with professors, ONE reasearch experience, most of my professors have left my undergrad insitution, will have to re-take the GRE (under 1000 when first tested), and have only had one work experience related to psychology.
Please help! Any advice on how I should go about the application process or experience will be helpful.

It certainly isn't too late to go back. I went back to graduate school after working for 16 years. I now have a PhD from Berkeley.

Your GPA is good enough to get you into some graduate program. How good a program depends on a few things -- including the quality of your undergraduate university and your GRE scores.

Your GRE score is pretty low and will probably keep you out of the top schools unless you can improve it. You should think about taking a class to help bring it up.
