I'm suffering through something called Masterpieces of Western Music, a core requirement.

It has all the makings for a horrible class:
1.The instructor has a nasally, whiny, heavily-accented voice. Think "The Nanny" only worse.

2. There's the one jackass who thinks he knows everything and refuses to shut his mouth- he disagrees with everything anyone else says. If I make it through the semester without stabbing him with my pen we'll both be lucky.

3. Plus, the textbooks are overpriced and terribly boring.

Well, I'm 15, but I'm still trying to decide what I want my career to be. If I want go become a Pharmasist, which courses should I take. From my understanding, don't you need 4 years of college and then a graduate program? What would those 4 years of college consist of? I'm so confused, HELP!

I guess I am a bit of an old fashion student. If someone could shed some light please share.......... I just need a little help on this one. If some of you guys could help out I'd appreciate it.

I am currently in 9th grade and I am planning to enter a prestigious college. I was wondering if high school teachers and professors in colleges are so picky about grammar. I am not talking about simple grammar mistakes, as in subject-verb agreement errors. For example, the word "work" is uncountable. If I wrote "I have so many works to do" instead of writing "I have so much work to do," would professors or even high school teachers pick those up and whack points off? I am studying grammar and I realized that there are so many confusing rules. If grammar isn't "big thing," does professor look for "Shakespheare-like" sentences? Or are they more concerned about the content?

One more thing!
There is a lot of rules (A)

There are a lot of rules (B)

Which one is correct?

I am half way through my junior year in highschool, and I am either valedictorian or salutatorian (I havent checked lately). I am an officer of Key Club, a member of National Honor Society, and a co-comittee head in Student Council, although i havent really actively been participating. My strengths are in mathematics mostly, and i am also taking AP computer science 2 and I am the only girl in the class.
What will it take for me to get into an Ivy League school?
