I'm suffering through something called Masterpieces of Western Music, a core requirement.
It has all the makings for a horrible class:
1.The instructor has a nasally, whiny, heavily-accented voice. Think "The Nanny" only worse.
2. There's the one jackass who thinks he knows everything and refuses to shut his mouth- he disagrees with everything anyone else says. If I make it through the semester without stabbing him with my pen we'll both be lucky.
3. Plus, the textbooks are overpriced and terribly boring.

No, I'm not a music major. Everyone at Columbia is required to take two Masterpeices classes: Art and Music. Art isn't that bad, as I'm more familiar with it, but the Music is just painful.
And then last class the jerk sitting behind me kept kicking the back of my chair. After class, because I moved my chair to get away from him, he called me a *****. Nice, right?

I am taking an online statistics course. And, you know how boring math can be! Not only do I have to listen to BORING videos online, I am sitting BY MYSELF in my apt when I watch them. I have to force myself to stay awake and pay attention. At least you have a brown noser to distract you from the boring subject. The next time he challenges someone's answers, you should call him on it. Say something like "Do you ever agree with anything anyone is saying?" or "Wow! Maybe you should be teaching the class since you seem to know everything".

Algebra
My teacher has a speech impediment (I'm serious) and has a lisp and talks like she has a mouth full of peas. My dad says that she has a nuerological disorder. But she's still horrible to us.
The horrible know it all in our class has the most annoying laugh and is always correcting the teacher. Luckily, he ran into a pole a couple of weeks ago and knocked himself out.
The textbooks are huge and frustrating. Talk about overpriced.

E370 - Statistics
Both my professor and instructor are horrible. The professor, I get her, but she doesn't always explain things in the best way. My instructor (for lab session) is from Haiti. His English isn't great and talks very low. Someone in class will ask him to speak louder and he'll say, "Yeah, yeah, OK," and continues talking at the same volume. He also has no concept of time, we'll run out of time in class and have a lot left that we should have done.

we had to pay 60 dollars for a "used" English lit book that was written five years ago. And is already out of style and cannot be resold at the end of the semester. Plus we paid over a hundred for the history book and lab notes and now they have changed the text for next years' class and we are stuck with five more pounds of useless paper.
Algebra is useless

Well I'm taking a couple of hard classes but I dont hate them because they are part of my major. The only one that I dont like that much is Managerial Economics. But I always hated taking Humanities or Western Civilization classes.

i was taking an art history class in high school (it was AP so it's the equivalent to a college course) but now i'm taking something that is even worse. spanish 3. all of the tests are in spanish, the directions are in spanish, and the teacher cant even speak full english. she has to stop about once per hour and ask her assistant to translate for her.
talk about painful.

All the textbooks are over priced. It is awful!
I am taking a Film and Literature course, and there is a guy who sits behind me... thinks he's a director or something... and is always talking smack; thinks he knows everything.
I want to smash his face-in.
My Math class is the worst, though. Takes me 12 hours to do my homework, online work, and online quizes.

Are you a music major?
My worst class is probably Italian IV. I love languages, and I do well in the class, but the teacher is so boring!!!
