I need to know if knowing at least the basics of Latin will be good/helpful in the field on Pharamcy?

Nope.

You memorize the terms you need. No need to learn a whole language for something you can just use straight rote memorization to accomplish.

Later, as a practicing pharmacist, you'll learn the wonders of a PDA and the program Lexi-Comp.

Knowing latin won't help you in pharmacy.

sure it would be helpful -- to the extent that medical terminology has its roots in latin ..

but i dont think prepping in it is likely to be beneficial unless you have no familiarity with latin.
