I need some advice, i have thought long and hard but still need a second opinion.

My son just got a scholarship to Harvard in the fall of 2007. He is only 16, still a child. Should I let live at Harvard or still at home?

He is getting the experience at such a young age to go to college, but should I be worried of what goes on at colleges at that level.

Thanks!

I already have a masters degree in MIS and I am starting an MBA. Do you think this is a bit redundant? Some people think so, but others feel that it is a solid, highly visible credential. My career probably will not end up in a technical field... so I think it's worth my time. My question is simply that of classification of the Master of Business Administration - masters or professional. A couple websites put it as professional school, like law or medicine.

I recently took the GRE. I got a 600 on the verbal, 560 on the quantitative and a 5.5 on the writing portion. Unlike most other people posting on here, my verbal skills are better than my math. Here's my question: I want to apply for the Master's in Counseling Psychology program at a local public university in MD. Do you think my scores are good enough? They only take about 1 in 5 people who apply. Of course, other factors are considered: personal statement, letters of recommendation, etc. My undergrad overall GPA was 3.42. Just thought I would throw this question out there before I waste $45 to apply. Thanks for any help!

I am a 15 year old sophomore who wants to study music as a major in college. I know the guitar fairly well (I would say I'm proficient) and I know very little about the piano. I can read music while I play it on the piano at a very slow tempo, and do not have very many classical pieces to my reportoire. I would get music lessons in order to advance my knowledge for the piano, but the problem is I live in an extremely rural area, and there aren't any offered for miles and miles. (literally!) So, I'm thinking, if I want to study the piano and guitar in college, do I have to be really good? Or will the college (an average music major in a state university...not Julliard, Yale, or something fancy) provide me adequate lessons and then test my progress through the semesters?

I guess I could just say this: How good does one have to be at their instrument in order to gain admittance into a music major program at a standard college? Answers are appreciated!!!!!!!!!
