I am very interested in going to this school and want to do everything I can to get in. Currently I am a freshman in high school, 4.0 GPA (weighted).

Doing well on the SAT, primarily on the math section should get you in. If you have a 4.0, then I suspect it shouldn't be a problem for you. Concentrate on the math and science courses. Especially math courses. Try to make sure you get through, at least, pre-calculus, preferably calculus.

It seems the cutoff is somewhere in the 1200 range. Fortunately, I went there for grad school. My GREs were significantly improved over my SATs, otherwise I'd have never gotten into school there.

Being a woman should be a slight plus. Engineering schools tend to have an overabundance of guys.

Be prepared for a year of calculus, graded very strictly. They use the first year of calculus to weed people out, so it's harder than it needs to be.

It seems like you are already on the right track...another tip, make sure you have good recommendation letters from reliable sources. Good luck and enjoy your high school career!
