To become a pharmacist in the USA you muist graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy and pass the difficulty state licensing or national licensing exams. The degree program gives you a Doctor of Pharmacy degree that takes four years. In order to start that degree you have to have at least two years previous college when you take the prerequisites, especially calculus, organic chemistry and biochemistry. If you arent good at math and you didnt do very well in HS chemistry, then forget about pharmacy.
Pharmacists make a lot of money and there are lots of jobs. For that reason the admission to Pharmacy programs around the country is very competitive... probably harder to get into than many Med Schools. In our local College of Pharmacy, I read in the paper that last year they had 1000 applicants for 90 seats.
