Does anyone have suggestions, from personal experience, on how to make maintaining a relationship in law school easier? Personal experience and strong supported advice will earn the best answer, and my thanks.

On Princeton Review it says to have 1 or 2 reach schools, I'm ranked 56 in my class of like 900 and have a average of about 94 with 3 AP classes. I was really wanted to apply to Columbia (with an acceptance rate of 11%) as my reach school but is this too out of reach for me? My frugality is telling me to save the application fee money and apply to an easier school as my reach.

I left school when I was 15 and worked on farms for 3 years and waitressed for 1 year. I then married an engineer & became a stay at home mum. I own my home & car & live in a popular middle-class suburb. I have no worries about finance or finding the time to study. However, I am really unsure about going to uni to study law because of my age, lack of work experience and lack of education. Am I being realistic?

I know this may sound ditzy... but i'm a little confused about credit hours. For example: at the school I'll be attending, I'll need 3 credit hours for one class. What does that mean???

Greetings all!

I am applying to grad school (library science). I don't have any professors I feel comfortable using for my recommendations but I have been working at a library for over 4 years and would like to use my director, my supervisor, and an old supervisor as my references.

Do you think this will fly? My director and old supervisor are pretty well known and while I don't want to play on their celebrity I am hoping it will give me an edge.

Your thoughts?

I'm 29 years old and my company pays 75% for college. However, I must go for a degree in my field. I work as a trainer/educator for an insurance company and I chose to take a business degree path toward an MBA. But my true desire is to purse a teaching career and a degree in education. Since I'm a trainer I may be able to get my company to still pay but many people have told me that I'm too old to get started with something like this, because I would need to student teach, etc. and I'm married and have a family and would not be able to student teach full time. Any thoughts, suggestions?
