For Better Answers I am an African American Female, and i like and get along with all races. So I want to attend a college that has a lot of diffrent races, but enough African Americans where I can still have peers of my race.

Hi!

I strongly suggest you take a look at Black Enterprise's list of their top fifty colleges for African-American students. As you might imagine, the diversity of a college is a major factor in these rankings. So is the level of comfort and the quality of mentoring that African-American students experience on these campuses. Strength of academic programs and the reputation of each school on a national level is also taken into account.

Best wishes to you!

Georgia Perimeter College (nee DeKalb College when I was there) had a great diversity of ages and races.

Georgia State University is much the same way, unfortunately it's without question the ugliest campus I've ever visited.

I'm assuming you're a woman. Check out Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA

Go get 'em, girl!

I don't think diversity should mean simply different races. Colleges with an international student body and faculty are the most diverse. You have not only different races, but people from different continents altogether. Generally the large research universities have good international reputation, and hence, representation.

Pretty much any California State University campus, and City University of New York campus. If you go to collegeboard.com you can actually do a college search and select the criteria of you college, part if the criteria is the desired minority percent. both CSU and CUNY have at least a 50%. There are also historically black and hispanic colleges alll thoughout the country.

I don't know, but I would stay away from such a liberal hole (that is, if they make an issue of race at all, or some silly quota system, special rights based upon race agenda, ect.).

This is not a criterion that should be considered when choosing a college. You want one that has a good program in your intended field of study; the ethnic mixture of faculty and/or students should be entirely irrelevant.
