I need to raise my GPA so what are some classes that you have found easy or at least that don't need a lot of effort?

The best way to raise your GPA is to consider repeating a class for "change of grade." If your school allows it, you should be able to retake a class with a C- or lower.

The original score will be on your transcripts, but the new and hopefully improved score will be used to calculate your overall GPA.

I've also tried taking 1 credit phys.ed classes like bowling and archery to help out a little, it really depends on how many credits you have so far.

Red Flag Alert...

Colleges "re-weight" GPAs and look closely at what classes were taken. In other words, they know and place a much higher value on a 3.8 that was achieved by someone taking AP and Honors classes, vs. a 4.0 that was achieved by someone taking basic classes, electives, "easy" stuff.

Depending on your situation and where you'd like to attend, you may want to take that into account. You could always contact the school(s) of interest and ASK THEM which course choices would be more meaningful to them as a potential applicant. Schools like potential students to get in touch with them... it shows an interest in the college that (in general) can secure you an "offer" vs. someone who's never contacted them, just applied "out of the blue."

Of course, this assumes your credentials are up to par for that school. ie Contacting them won't get an unqualified student into that college.

Good luck.

It depends on you! Take something that sounds fun (I always like art or sociology). If you are interested in the subject, you'll be more willing to do the work. That might even help you find a major.
