At least an A minus/B Plus. NYU was ranked the 34th top university in the country by US News & World Report. Your SATs and your letter of recommendations should also be strong. NYU, nevertheless, is a huge private university with 40,000 students. So there is a lot of room for students, good students of course. To live on campus in the heart of Greenwich Village, however, will cost you over $35,000 a year. NYU has an excellent TV&Film department, the best in the nation, and an excellent English department with creative writing. Bottom line -it's a high academiclevel artsy school.
