This site lists pretty much every college in America, and lets you search by things like size, location, and major to make a list that you can use for further research. It also has helpful planning tips.
www.review.com
Princeton Review's site has good "insider" information about a lot of colleges, and lets you rank them using some other numbers such as how hard it is to get in.
www.crimsonplume.com
The last website is run by a friend of mine who specializes in college admissions consulting. He offers free phone consultations for new clients, and has good rates.

can not I only use facebook and MySpace? i do no longer advise to be rude, yet hasn't the boat handed in this? Competing with those 2 web content heavily isn't common, to declare the least. to no longer point out maximum universities set up facebook-lites, that are in basic terms available to that uni's scholars, besides to web content that permit scholars to function, save, and share artwork. We call it WebCT, right here. all the above is loose. no longer many college scholars would be attracted to procuring a student geared web site. If any.

www.collegeboard.com (like the person said above me)
www.myroad.com (It's a branch of the collegeboard, and it's free for those who took the PSAT)
