Higher Education (University +) - December 2006

I can afford college, but nothing past an Associates degree/Junior College. I have the ability, just not the adequte funding. I blame the Liberals for making College completely unaffordable.

i want to study psychology when i go to college
why kind of knowledge should i have? is stuyding psychology easy? and the other thing is, this morning, i heard psychology is somehow related to math, u have to be very good at math if u want to study psychology. is that ture? i need some confirmation!

Does the reputation and prestige of a university really affect your BA/MA/etc degree or is it just a phony rumor? Is it really going to affect your future which university you go to?

I am going to persue my masters degree in sociology in the fall 07' as soon as i'm done with my undergrad. I was wondering what is there to do with a masters in this field. i did dropped halfway first semester of my junior year this year... coz i was really screwing up the subjects. be not so quick to judged,,, i havent failed before in my previous 2 years and now i'm so depressed even suicidal coz it felt like i've ruined my future but i'm thinking of coming back to finish and get a degree...

i guess i need encouragement and those who hav experienced same situation like this and yet got thru with it inspite

Next fall, I will be attending college but I don't know what to major in. I want to be able to have a good paying job in an IT-related field working for any large firm; such as a corporate bank, or something business-finance related. I was thinking to major in computer science and minor in business or finance.. I have been told that there are no more computer science jobs though... what should I do?

MY friend has a criminal back ground and he has defintely paid his dues to society, he dosnt believe that there are people who would give him a second chase. any way he is trying really hard to get his background cleaned up.and im tyring to assist him with that, because i know that he is really trying to better himself fro his family. he wants to know if if is posible that he go go into the legal field after his background has been cleaned up. have a happy and safe hoilday.
