Psychology is a good subject if you are willing to get your master's and ph'd in it. I think that undergrad psychology is pretty easy, but after that (graduate coursework) it gets pretty challenging. Psychology is only related to math when you are studying psychological testing and research when you have to study statistics and reasoning. That's pretty much the only thing. I am horrible in math but I got my undergrad degree in it. lol. I say do some exploring, look at various schools. Psychology is a good field, but I found that it wasn't for me. Working with those who have mental illnesses and many problems didn't appeal to me so I switched career paths. But hey, whatever suits you. Do more research on it and pursue your dream.

I wouldn't say the math thing is true at all. I mean, I guess if you want a PhD in psychology you'll need a lot of math (to figure out prescriptions) but there are a lot of fields that it's not necessary to be a mathematical genius to be good in psychology.

Easy? Well, anything worth working for isn't really easy. But, for me, it was easier than say...math! LOL It's all relative.

As far as knowledge, you'll get it as you go. Some things for your first psychology class you'll want to buff up on are the parts of the brain, their functions and what does what up there. If you're an overachiever, you could also read up on Freud and Carl Jung. Those things (and people) are all staples of your first semester.

I just took my first year of Psychology in College and it isn't that bad. We just had to memorize alot. I hate math and I didn't use any math ideas or topics in the class. Psychology is a great program to study in!
