I'm most interested in focusing on literacy and second language acquisition. I prefer innovative instruction to traditional pedagogy.

I have spoken with several, and they only admit nationals that have graduated from an African high school. Can someone please give me some advice?

Any place other than South Africa. I don't like South Africa, it's too much like America. I have been to Kenya though, and I would like to spend more time there (or another country other than South Africa), and to learn more from their culture.

I am going to community college here in Denver and flunking out because it is not a very good school. I think if I went to good school like Harvard I would do better.

Has anyone of you pursued a second BA or BS in a liberal arts major for personal enjoyment. If so what did you major and which college did you attend for the 2nd degree?

I was wondering if I'm nuts to pursuing another degree: B.A. in English after I earned a B.S. in Computer Science. (I'm 28 years old -- doing college all over again) Especially considering I've acquired student loans for my first degree. I'm looking to attend a decent university for the second degree.

when they ask me some question like "what did you did before you come?", is it alright for me to joke like "oh, I prank called my friends, telling him that I am the police officer blah blah blah..."

just to show the humorous part of me, but not sure if they accepts it.

- I made a promise to my son when he was 13 that if he got a full-ride scholarship to Princeton University, I would get him a Dodge Viper, and he did. The scholarship was privately granted. He is extremely bright, and overall excellent person, and terrific at driving manuals. I am not sure, because of the fact that students have an outdoor public parking lot(s), and it might (probably) would be trashed. I am also not sure if there is a private parking garage in Princeton relatively close to campus. What do you think?

Hi there. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems from my home country of Malaysia. I wouldn't call it a mistake but after almost four years of soul searching, I have come to the conclusion that IT is not my cup of tea and I am now seriously pondering a change in career.

My options are: i) Master of Accounting (MAcc), ii) Master of Science in Finance (MSc), iii) MBA with concentration in either Accounting or Finance, iv) Master of Science in both Accounting & Finance.

Considering the fact that I haven't got a pure Finance/Accounting background, which option should I really pursue? Secondly, I am torn between doing my Masters in the US or the UK, as graduate programs in both countries differ a great deal in terms of syllabus and subjects offered. Being an international student I would prefer a program which is recognised worldwide should I decide to try my luck in exotic places like Dubai/Shanghai etc as an expat later in my career.

Many thanks. :)
