GPA is not the only thing colleges look at. I would get involved at school, colleges love that kind of stuff, do volunteer work, play sports, any extracurricular activities. A lot of times doing these types of things actually help you in school. You can also do a good job of preparing for the SAT or ACT whichever one makes more sense for you. And you should be able to get your GPA up a decent amount if you work hard. And after all that junior college isn't a bad idea...make good grades there and you should be able to transfer.

in case you're coming to varsity from HS, its greater durable to get ordinary with a 2.0 GPA. I in simple terms complete my 2d 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of community college with a 2.3 GPA and that i've got been given ordinary into 3 out of 5 universities that i utilized for. in case you have a 2.0 GPA in HS you will maximum in all possibility be in the a million.0 selection in college with the aid of fact the artwork is greater stressful. To make a protracted tale short, in case you have been moving from a CC to a school with a 2.0, you have got a narrow possibility at a decrease end public college. yet coming in from HS, maximum in all possibility you wont get ordinary with a 2.0. i could say pass to community college then pass to a 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days college

It is possible. Work hard for the rest of your time in high school to bring up your GPA. If you have to go to a community college for a semester or two to bring up your GPA, you can always transfer to another school. Don't worry, what you get in high school does not determine your entire future.

Although it is possible to get your gpa up - maybe you should spend a year in a community college for a year or two - there is nothing wrong with that. My cousin went to SBCC and later transfered into Stanford. Do you the best you can - you might make it with a 2.8 or higher.
Good Luck!!!

You can apply to take a few part-time classes, and once you've proven yourself with decent grades ,a lot of colleges will allow you to move to full-time status. The only problem is that you usually can't live on campus and go part-time right away, so you have to commute to a college near you. Best of luck and don't give up because it's worth it in the long run.

There are options:
Take the SAT's and do well(a high score will counteract with the low GPA)
Summerschool
Study harder this year
Go to a Junior or Community College to boost your GPA. I did it and it helps.

You need to begin working very hard now to bring your GPA up. Colleges will look for the best students. You still have time to improve, but don't slack off. You do need to start now!
