I am going to community college here in Denver and flunking out because it is not a very good school. I think if I went to good school like Harvard I would do better.

I would suggest getting a ticket at Denver's international airport and either fly into Logan Airport in Boston or take the direct way by flying into T.F. Green Airport outside of Providence, RI - then take the Bus and/or T when you get to Boston to see the campus. That will get you into Havard's Campus because I am sorry honey if you can't make it at a community college your not going to make it a Harvard (funny thought though - hope your just being silly like me here).

Good Luck!!!

btw - I can give you the driving instruction to Boston if you like also ;-)!!!!

I'm sorry to say that getting into Harvard is no easy task. Harvard is one of the Top 10 colleges in America. It take a huge amount of effort to go from Flunking community college to Harvard. I don't believe more than 2 people a year have done that. So if you really believe you can get into Harvard that easily that I think you deserve to fail... sorry to say

Harvard only accepted about 75 transfer students last year -- which is about double their normal rate. Most of them were going to top liberal arts colleges, like Williams or Swarthmore and were transferring to study a subject not taught at their previous school.

If I told you that your chances of getting into Harvard after failing community college classes are practically zero, I would be giving you false hope -- because the probablity actually is zero.

Your best opportunity would be to try to get into a decent state university in your home state.

Get good grades at the school that you are at. Find a niche that you could use to gain admission to Harvard. Work every connection that you have including any alumni professors or friends that your parents may have. If you are flunking out of junior college, I doubt it is the school, so you might want to visit your college counselor and see if you can get tutoring and/or mentoring.

If you're flunking out of a community college, what makes you think you will be able to hack it at Harvard? Is this question a joke?

I'm at MIT, right across the way, and I'm telling you there is almost no chance for you to get in. In your condition, you will need a very rich grandfather who can donate a library to Harvard. Otherwise, you will need to exhibit perfect high school grades, outstanding leadership records, countless hours of community service, national-level recognition for your test scores, and a very, very, competitive and strong drive for success. And a 99th percentile SAT score. Harvard and MIT do not give out scholarships for being smart. They both only give a little bit of money to students whose families are poorer. So basically the tuition and fees (together ~$42,000) will be on your hands. In other words, reconsider other options, please. Hope this helped.

Harvard is an Ivy league university! They take the best of the best, unless you have straight A's then you have no chance of getting into Harvard!

I applied as a joke (im from England) and they actually invited me for a chat with one of the professors!!!!!

You take Interstate 95 to Boston. Then you cross the Charles River to Cambridge. From there you'll see the signs to Harvard. You could walk into any buidling. Just don't be a nuisance. Folks there are very serious and extremely concerned about their financial well being.

It is virtually impossible to go from a community college to Harvard. You have to have top grades and many activities such as being a class officer, many clubs and organizations, and leadership ability. The tuition is extremely expensive, also. You can apply and see what happens.

You really need to step back and look at your study habits. If you are flunking it is highly unlikely it is because the school is "bad."
