i have not yet started preparing for aieee.will it help if i start after my board exams? where can i download the model question paper...also advice me somethings i need to do while preparing for aieee?

AIEEE seeks speed and accuracy. If u want to perform better practice lot of questions of each sub and maths in particular.
keep doing sample problems available in market and also the previous year questions from the question banks within the time limit.

i would recommend that you study your board exam course of physics, chemistry and mathematics very hard and then complete some of those objective books like MCQ viz
Physics MCQ- Deb Mukherjee
Chemistry MCQ
Mathematics MCQ - A Das Gupta
These books are smaal but very conceptual... you can easily crack any competition with these books.
