He has a microwave in his dorm and a mini kitchen down the hall. Right now he's surviving on ramen noodles and college food. I want to give him something that he would be able to eat out of the package or cook easily but something that's not too unhealthy. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am wanting to go to a high profile college like Norte Dame. My long term goal is to go to John Hopkins or Harvard Medical School. If I go to a smaller college, instead of Norte Dame, but still a good one, can I still have a very high percentage chance of getting into Harvard or John Hopkins? Even if I maintain a 3.9-4.0 gpa?

I'm looking for sources (to cite in an essay) that will display university drop out rates. In particular, I need to know which month is the most common for drop outs, but any details relating to it would be useful. A website link, book information, etc. would be helpful for me to find the source.

Hi,

Here's my situation. I am currently going to Ohio State University. The tuition here is about $11,000 a quarter. I am going to engineering, which is ranking around the 15th in the country. However, lately, I've been thinking of going to college in my hometown of Toledo. I have been thinking of switching to University of Toledo. The following reasons are making me lean towards going back home:

-It's free because my mom is a professor there
-I could live at home for the first year, which is nice (I don't mind living in dorms, I love the social life, but home is just better in my opinion)
-University of Toledo's engineering program is ranked just a few below OSU's
-I am in a long distance relationship right now and I would be closer to my girlfriend (this is not my deciding factor but certainly adds to the appeal).

Any thoughts or wisdom on this matter? What would you do?

Thank you very much,
Alex

I currently attend URI and my grades are horrible. I'm applying at another school for enrollment for January. (They are about the same academically.) Should I drop out of URI and start fresh at the new school or should I just stick it out and have those bad grades transfered? Do I even have an option?

I know you would need a Masters to teach, which is not what I want to do anyway, but overall other than teach, what is it good for?
