Talk to the med school(s) you want to go to and ask them where their student did their undergrad degrees. They do give out this information and you may even find this on their website. When I was in college my roommate was pre-vet med. She was at that college (as were other people we knew) because more of their graduates were accepted into her chosen vet school than most other undergrad programs. Of course its still up to you to get the grades and the test scores, but at least you know that the med school will think that you're well prepared for their program when you graduate from that school.

Go to a school where you can ace all your classes. Getting into med school after college is very competative - my husband had almost straight A's from MIT, with a double major, and still didn't get into med school. If he had had straight A's from a weaker school, he probably would've gotten in.
