I'm looking for sources (to cite in an essay) that will display university drop out rates. In particular, I need to know which month is the most common for drop outs, but any details relating to it would be useful. A website link, book information, etc. would be helpful for me to find the source.

The best and most accurate information is at the Admissions Office or the Office of Enrollment Management at any college/university. They are required to keep these numbers on file and can help you get them. Remember, the numbers are not always right.... many schools do not want to look bad and will consider a "suspension" different from a "drop out", which is different from a withdrawl. If you want to see the numbers for students that were kicked out because their grades were too low, you have to ask for that. There is not one magic number.... there is about 100.
