its in new york (no duh) which is like a theater capital of the USA

Two very strong programs in this realm are at UCLA in Los Angeles and at Northwestern in Illinois (the Radio/TV/Film Department in the School of Communication).

Try USC. George Lukas went there, and I think Steven Speilberg, too.
