Half of the people that I know say that even if I go to college I wont be able to get a job. The other half say I will find a job easilly if I go to college. who should I listen to?

I'm gonna go to college no matter what though, to make my mom happy. (don't make fun of me please)

i'm now currently staying in a hostel. but everynight my room mate will be out with her friends and i'll be left alone in the room. also everynight i will not have any company to have dinner with. i feel lonely staying in a hostel. i'm not very close to the other pple staying in the same hall. i thought of moving out after two months. but i'm worried dat after moving out i will definietl have fewer friends in school. the friends i have will only be my tutorial mates. but if i continue to stay, i will feel very lonely at night and i'll start to miss home. there will be times when i'll just cry alone in my room.

The high school I go to now does not offer science-lab credits. And for most colleges you need them. However I do live by a community college and I would be able to take science classes there and get science lab credits. Would colleges accept those as the needed credits to get in?

Changing high schools is not an option.

Software engineering is a popular field now a days and yet a lot of colleges still don't offer it.. its always Computer Science. I mean its not llike Software engineering isn't a legit field of study, I mean some colleges offer it, why do you supppose not a lot of them?

Is it a good academic school? or is it more like a safety school?
I'm planning on going there but dont have many opinons about it besides what i can read off of their website, and who knows what is true.

Also, dose it have a good science program?

Would it be a school that people(employers) wouldnt be impressed with at all?

I've been considering becoming a Psychologist and an English professor, and haven't really decided which one yet. I'm not sure, but I think that both of them require Ph.d's, and the college I'm considering only offers Bachelor's degrees. The closest major I've found is in Liberal Arts. What can I do with a Bachelor in Liberal Arts? Can it help me with the professions I'm looking into?
