That should be a problem. As far as I know all states ask on their application has your license ever been suspended and why. Some suspensions can be explained (I didn't pay my fees on time) or some would require evidence of rehabilitation (I took some of the pills for recreational use but got into counseling and have a therapist who will vouch for my rehabilitation. Others are hopeless for an extended period of time.

it depeneds on the state, some states allow u and others dont....
