I want a career change. But at 47 yrs old, I don't want to spend 4 years in college to do so. I want to be one of the people at the "help desk" who troubleshoot computer problems for office workers.

I'm going to be completing my teaching degree though an online course through UW-Superior. I've never taken an online class, and I'm really nervous about it. Has anyone completed their degree this way? Was it very difficult? I'm going be be juggling two part-time jobs (one in my home), a family, and college. I want to do well in school (I've always gotten A's and B's before), but I don't want to put too much pressure on myself since grades aren't everything. I've had people tell me online courses are tougher than regular courses. The one I'm really concerned about this semester is my Mathematics class for Elementary School Teachers. Math is not my strong suit, and I looked over the 1st chapter, and I'm already confused. Any reassurance would be great! Previous experience with online college classes would be a plus.

Suppose you own a company of 54 employees. Your top performer Linda has been with the company since it opened. She sells, trains and repairs the equipment at an outstanding manor.
She is a very popular employee.

She decides to get married and all the other employees are happy for her. You and all the other attend the wedding.
She married a muslim man. When she returned to work here appearance changed dramatically.

She converted to the muslim faith and was dressed in traditional muslim attire. No make up as well. Her appearance is causing quite a stir with other employees. You are upseat about this, afraid that the customers are not going to like this and other employees are being distracted.
Linda remind you that she is the same person and customers will adjust to her new dress. Also that there is no company dress code or anything about religious practices in the policy handbook.
What will you say to her? What are your legal options?

I am a senior in high school and I think I have decided Nurse Practitioner over Physician Assistant. I will be applying for colleges in the fall and I am not sure if pursuing the BSN degree (MSN later) is better at state colleges or universities.

I originally wanted to go to UC Davis or UC Irvine, but I don't think they have a BSN program. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I have been dreaming to go to one of those UCs. However, I will sacrifice whatever it takes to be an NP.

I have done my research and found that these colleges have a nursing program. Please help choose the BEST college out there for me! I ruled out UCSD or UCLA because I doubt I will make it in with a (10-11th grade cumulative) 3.54 gpa.

Universities (If you're sure it offers nursing.):

Davis
Irvine

State Colleges:

CSU Los Angeles
CSU Sacramento
San Diego State
San Francisco State
San Jose State

This is extremely long, but it will be my future.

I'm currently studying accountancy, but I don't really like it.... I am trying very hard to like it. I passed my exams, but the mark's not very high. I like biology and photography but, if I pursue that career, I won't be able to find a job so easily especially when I'm planning to work overseas. Should I pursue what I like or should I continue studying this course? Is there a way in which I can love this course?
