What`s the best way to stay focused while studying? whats the longest you spent time studying?

Classical music!! Personally I can't stand the stuff so I substitute Coldplay for Mozart but music in the background really makes you remember things better. Do you know how sometimes people make songs out of, say, history dates to remember their order? This works because combining the right side of the brain (creative) with the left (logical). Listening to music activates the right side while studying activates the left, therefore including your entire brain while you study. And it works!! I have studied for 6 hours as my record. Not a very impressive feat, but what can I say??

Try ot take care of all of your other business before you start studying. If someone interrupts you while studying tell them you are studying and hang up the phone. Study with a friend or do this over the phone. Make it more fun.
Try to be interested in the subject. Somebody wrote the book for a reason. Try to fighre out why they wrote the book.

Everyone has a different method. This is what works for me. First I try to eat well and excercise. Then I break things down into more manageable bits that will allow me to better focus on what I need to know. Ask yourself questions about the material. What is it that it is trying to tell you? Is this an incidental question designed to lead you to the real question? What is the intention of the question? Do any of the answers to those questions relate or validate answers that you already know regarding this subject?

i tried some riddlin type thing, my friend told me.
i stayed focus and got myyself a B+
not bad i thought.....felt very confident too and finished upper middle out of everyone.
i gotta find out exactly what the stuff was.....
