is college a waste of time for a person with a felony when it comes to getting a job at a company does anyone know a person with a felony who has been to college and got a good job with their degree felony is for robbery

If you can afford the courses without financial aid, since it will be unavailable to you as a felon, it might still be worthwhile to pursue your degree. There are many jobs and job fields where they don't and/or can't require you to divulge your criminal history, depending on the exact nature of the crime. There are certainly also degree requiring professions that might not disallow you anyway, such as potentially social work and criminology. I would suggest you contact the career counselor at whatever school you were looking into. They might have more information for you on opportunities in your area. Don't give up!
