Develop an argument with one of these assertions:
a. Oedipus's fall is the result of fate, predestination, and the gods, and it would happen despite his character.

b. Oedipus's fall is the result only of his character and has nothing to do with fate or the gods.

Can someone help me with the above assignment i have no idea what to write or what to say!

Even just with a small group, i'm totally nervous and my lips get all dry.

I am hoping to get to make a speech on my Graduation Day, but I can't if i'm going to be to nervous and shy! What can I do to just be my self and not worry about talking in front of people?

I'm currently a sophomore in highschool, planning to take the SAT I in order to apply to a school specifically for science and mathematics [NCSSM]. It was a spur of the moment decision, and now I must take the SAT on January 27th in order for my application to be accepted.

The last time I took the SAT was 3 years ago. At that time, I had both the flu and strept throat-- put simply, not a very good experience. I have old Kaplan SAT books [© 2002], but I'm not sure if they'd be much help with the new SAT.

My question is: Should I study books focused on the new SAT, so that I can get a better understanding of how the essay will be?

What is the best way to prepare in such a limited amount of time?

Links, references, and suggestions are all very much appreciated.

I am having some issues with getting my son to get up in the night and use the bathroom. He sleeps so soundly that he will wet the bed and not wake up. He will be 5 in March.
HE is big for his age, and very very smart. I try to explain to him that he needs to get up when he feels like he is going to go pee, and use the potty (it is across the hall from his room). I leave the bathroom light on and a light in the hallway on also.
I have been trying waking himi up at night to go potty, and it works pretty well, but then I am tired from waking up every 2 or 3 hours to take him to the bathroom...
I have also tried setting an alarm in his room to go off every 3 hours to wake him up so he goes on his own with no luck.
I have him wearing pull ups at night because we dont have a washer and dryer in our home yet, and doing laundry every day was getting to be a bit too much for me...
any advice???

I was wondering and since when i started college my vocab level was only around the 19th grade level on the nelson denny(considering we were taking exams and i did not finish it the first time and tested above 14.3 or 14.2 i left 15 questions blank and am naturally left handed) i guess my question would be



if you have a million dollars i know it's 4 million quarters if you have a million quarters i know it's 250000 dollars what if you were convering this in that you have 1000000 cents?this is very confusing or maybe what would it be in nickels or a million nickels,etc.?thanks.
