You may be ADD: try this.
1) turn on low music in the background
2) chew gum while you read
3) if you own the book; get a highlighter and focus on coloring the key points- if you don't have a highlighter, take notes on a separate page
4) drink some caffeine- coffee if you are old enough or some caffeinated soda.
The caffeine and the gum will calm you down, the noise will help minimize other distractions, the highlighting will help you stay on task (focus)
Good luck.

find something that you like to read, if your young find a fiction book ot read, if your an adult find something maybe like Davinchi Code or something.
To concetrating part: um, first find a peaceful place to read and concentrate on the book and while you read make images in your head like a movie of the book but in your head though!
